Thanks for joining us for another episode of the Scale Your Small Business Podcast with your host, Jillian Flodstrom! Today we’re going to run through some of your questions and feedback from our last Scale Your Small Business Process episode on Recalibration.

A big question that came up in regards to the 12 week year was how to keep score. The best way to do this is to have a planner where you keep your goals, but no more than three. After that, it becomes overwhelming and impossible to keep up with.

Have a section in your planner for strategy, tactics, results, and reflection. These are all crucial aspects to keep tabs on to make sure you’re always moving forward. This can serve as a daily planner as well!

Another question was when do I start my 12 week year? The answer is whenever! Simply pick a date and set the end 90 days out. This is YOUR year to plan out. If you’ve had a bad day, and didn’t hit your goals, or you look at your list and didn’t get anything accomplished, that’s okay! Just restart the next day. You don’t want to give up, you don’t want to let those goals that you picked out and set aside sit for longer than they have to.

If you don’t want to do a 12 week year, you don’t have to! It can be as long or as short as you need. The goal is to get things done–how you choose to do that is up to you. This is about continually moving forward.
