Thanks for joining us on the Scale Your Small Business Podcast with your host, Jillian Flodstrom! On today’s show, we’re with Allyson Chavez, a prosperity transformation coach with a passion for teaching ambitious, women and men how to get out of their own way so they can easily and consistently hit their targets while feeling peace and joy as they go.

There is a difference between challenges and struggles, Allyson says. Challenges lead to progress, while struggles stall that progress. Struggle is filled with frustration, irritation, and impatience. There is no value in struggle, but challenge presents immense value and usefulness. We’ve been taught that you must have struggled to have deserved success. This doesn’t have to be the case!

It’s all about mindset. When we marry systems and structures with mindset that is a power couple. Overwhelm is just living in the future. We’re meant to live in today. Use the tools that you have and do what you can do today. Focus on one thing at a time and watch as the day smooths itself out.

We have a tendency to compare ourselves to others with no regard to where that person is in their professional journey. You may not see it, but there’s a good chance there’s a team of people supporting the person you’re comparing yourself to. A one-woman show is going to feel a lot different than someone with 30 people in the background. When you’re just starting, you may not have had the experience of leading a multi-million dollar team in a corporate setting–and that’s okay! You’re still going to learn, skill up, and scale your business.

We often fall into the trap of perfectionism, Allyson notes, and that can make us lose sight of why we got into the business in the first place. It’s okay to take something and see how far you can go with it. It doesn’t have to be perfect, and you don’t have to eat yourself alive if something doesn’t work.

Allyson is the host of the podcast The Prosperity Approach, where she talks about the inner, mental game of business. Many people play to not lose, whereas she teaches others to play to win. On the show, she shares practical tips that you can apply to your business to grow. Money doesn’t bring peace, peace brings money. So finding the peace first will help you in the long run. It doesn’t have to be complicated!

Allyson developed an online workshop for listeners! Head to https://prosperityapproach.com/workshop to find out how you can work with Allyson in implementing tools that are made for you.
